MODEL ND
The model ND introduced in
1930 was little more than a modified NC. It featured a more
sensitive high speed geared flyball governor instead of the old sliding
weight style and all sizes were now equipped with disc flywheels. They were built
in 2, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 hp with all sizes being equipped with a Wico EK
magneto as standard equipment. By the time the ND came along F&J
was already in trouble as engine sales continued to slip fast.
Only about 1000 ND engines
were made, the last leaving the factory in March of 1933.
